Safe drinking water and sanitation are critical for survival, safety, human well-being and dignity. Iwash provides a #platform with understandable designs that can be made from local materials. These designs, blueprints, and instructions on how to create and implement certain technologies are used to #inspire and #empower others to create or implement the ideas themselves.

Local sanitation partners and university research institutes in Ghana support and expand the knowledge sharing and provide contextual research. Projects are developed and tested locally before being hosted on the iwash platform to ensure the technologies and ideas can actually be implemented.
