Research Projects.

The following gallery exhibits long term Water For Impact research projects. These are linked to the core applications of the seven themes that aim is to promote water research that contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals agenda.

Who Are We?

Learn more about our approach.

Multidisciplinary science, technology and innovation are at the core of our collaborative projects. We foster strong interdisciplinary relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders to co-create innovative technologies and sustainable implementation strategies.

To tackle world wide water problems our approach includes four key elements:

A Challenge

Our starting point are global water challenges faced by people in developing countries: clean water, sanitation and disaster resilience and response.

Science

Research for global water resilience involves creative, out-of-the-box, high-quality scientific and technological innovations with a tangible outputs.

Co-Creation

Close cooperation between TU Delft scientists and local partners in Sub Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia create concrete solutions for global water resilience.

Local Impact

Tangible solutions that directly improve lives of people living in low resource settings. A safer living environment, creation of economic activity and affordable, sustainable and reliable tools.
